March 21 2006, Canadian Paralympic athletes arrived at Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport in Montreal. The Canadian Paralympic Committee hosted a news conference to welcome Canadian athletes back and to celebrate the team's success at the IX Paralympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy. Team Canada brought back 13 medals, including five gold, three silver and five bronze.
